A church of bones. These are real skulls. Not to be confused with the church of bones in the Czech Republic that Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman visited in their movie The Long Way Round. Pictures of that church can be found in the Czech Photo link. Conchita was wondering why I look so serious in this photo. Maybe because I was surround by a bunch of skulls!!!??

Portugal is one of the biggest producers of cork. Conchita and I saw all these trees and were wondering what they were. We discovered that they were cork trees and that cork is actually the bark. For some reason I had always thought that cork was man-made.
